Inclusion of failed transactions in a block

STAGE: Building now

Q3 2023

v0.12.1 sees the addition of failed transactions being included into blocks. This aims to streamline the transaction process and provide developers with a more reliable environment.

At first, the inclusion of failed transactions will operate on a trusted basis. However, in version 0.15.0 the ability to prove failed transactions will be introduced, transitioning the process to a trustless framework.

By including failed transactions in the block, Starknet simplifies the user experience, allowing developers to confidently advance the nonce without constant status monitoring. This enhancement fosters smoother interactions and serves as a stepping stone towards a trustless system in version 0.15.0, ensuring transparency and security.

The full proposal for this feature is outlined on the official Starknet Community Forum.
